For those passionate about art, Lugano is the perfect destination for a wonderful weekend in September.

Take this opportunity to combine the beauty of Lugano in late summer with the magic of art on paper and visit the Exhibition Centre of Lugano, for the first edition of WOPART – (Work on Paper). This event will take place from the 1st to the 5th of September 2016.

This International Art fair offers a fascinating journey through many periods of art history, analysing different techniques and art forms from ancient drawings to modern prints as well as photographs by famous photographers, water colours, oriental prints and contemporary art.

WOPART also offers an extensive program of events which will allow the public to discuss and explore the most topical themes of the moment presented at the Lugano exhibition.

This program will also include Art Conversations, where art critics and art historians will be available to meet and discuss ideas with other international art experts.
